    ## Introduction

Effie Video Studio is a personal-use desktop application operated by a single individual creator. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and the limited circumstances under which it leaves the user's own device. By using Effie Video Studio you agree to the practices described here.

    ## Data We Collect

Effie Video Studio accesses third-party platform data only with the user's explicit OAuth authorization or with an access token the user manually pastes from a platform's developer console. When the user grants access, the app may receive the following from each connected platform, scoped to the permissions the user approved:

    - **TikTok**: a TikTok user identifier, display name, avatar URL, and OAuth access and refresh tokens. The app also reads video files and associated metadata (titles, descriptions, captions) that the user has selected for upload.

    - **YouTube (Google)**: a YouTube channel identifier, channel title, and OAuth access and refresh tokens. The app also reads video files and associated metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails) that the user has selected for upload, and may read aggregate analytics for the user's own channels.

    - **Pinterest**: a Pinterest user account identifier and username, an OAuth access token (or a manual access token pasted by the user from the Pinterest developer console), and the contents of the user's own boards and pins, including pin image URLs, descriptions, and board names.

The app does not collect analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, location data, contacts, or any data unrelated to the user's own content production workflow.

    ## How We Use the Data

All accessed data is used solely to enable the user to organize and publish their own creative content from their own device to their own accounts on the platforms listed above. Specifically:

    - Tokens are used to authenticate API calls to TikTok, YouTube, or Pinterest on the user's behalf.

    - Video files are sent directly to TikTok's Content Posting API or YouTube's Data API for the user's own uploads, with the metadata the user has specified.

    - Pinterest board and pin data is read into the user's local creative library so the user can organize inspiration images alongside their own production assets. Effie Video Studio does not post or modify content on Pinterest.

    ## Third Parties

The only third parties Effie Video Studio communicates with are the platforms whose accounts the user has chosen to connect, through each platform's official developer APIs:

    - TikTok (Login Kit and Content Posting API)

    - YouTube / Google (YouTube Data API)

    - Pinterest (Pinterest API v5)

The app does not transmit user data to any other server, analytics service, advertising network, or data broker. The app does not sell, trade, or share user data with anyone.

    ## Storage

OAuth tokens, manual access tokens, and account configuration are stored locally on the user's own computer in an application settings file. Inspiration images and videos imported by the user are stored locally in the user's project folder. No user data is stored on any server operated by the developer of Effie Video Studio. Uploaded videos and any data on connected third-party platforms remain subject to those platforms' own privacy terms.

    ## Your Rights

The user may revoke Effie Video Studio's access to any connected account at any time by visiting that platform's account settings and removing the application's authorization (TikTok account settings, Google account permissions, or the Pinterest developer console, respectively). The user may also delete the locally stored tokens by removing the application's settings file from their computer. Because no data is held on any developer server, there is no remote record to request deletion of.
